Tempting in Teal

Teal is a gorgeous colour, that flatters most women.

It doesn’t seem to get a good reputation in the movies though, when JLo famously said that if your bridesmaids wear teal then your marriage will only last six months.

Having this colour for a bridesmaids dress is a particular favorite. It suits most skin tones, and can look gorgeous when lined up at the front of a church.

Dresses in this color are not just for a bridesmaid, you can wear it throughout the year to lots of different occasions. It looks great when worn at a Christmas party, and can be dressed up with lots of sparkly jewellery and heels, or dressed down with a black shrug, matching earrings and flats.

Teal will go great with lots of different colors for accessories, brown, black, silver, turquoise and navy blue.

For a real style statement, pop a distinctive dress coat on top of your gown, and wear it to your next winter ‘do’. When you leave the party, don’t forget to accessorize with a pair of sexy leather gloves and a cute beret.

When wearing teal in the winter, be sure to have perfected your skin too, as teal will show up any skin imperfections. So, buff away that dry patchy skin with a great exfoliant, and smooth on the body lotion.

Go for a fake tan if you feel inclined to do so, and get yourself feeling summery. Make sure to complete the look by having perfectly polished nails on your fingers and toes.
Try not to go for a matching teal shade on your hands and feet, as this could end up looking a bit dated, instead choose a beautiful and chic French manicure.

If you are going to match anything with the strong teal color of the dress, then make it the bag, although this may be a tough thing to find.

A cute teal clutch will last a long time, and carry you through all sorts of social occasions. Try and get one with a little bit of diamante on it, if your dress is fairly straight.

Also, choose to have softly curled hair, which will compliment your dress by contrasting.
