Never Ordinary in Orange Dresses This daring burnt orange dress is both sexy and beautifully fitted

This is one color that you are lucky to be able to wear.

It's supposed to energise you and give you a feeling of security.

However, many women would look drained and washed out wearing this colour, but if you are fortunate enough to have the right skin tone and hair color to carry it off, you'll probably be lucky enough to find that you're the only woman at the party wearing orange.

So, if you find you usually wear autumn colors such as brown , mustard yellow, camel , rust and teal, then you can probably carry off burnt orange too.

If you don't feel comfortable with neon or bright orange, then try shades of peach, apricot and rust , for a similar effect.

Not sure what suits you?  Try holding an orange scarf up to your face to see whether it adds a glow or drains the color - that's the simplest test.

Tips for Prom Night

One of the benefits of being able to wear the stronger shades of orange is that few women can.  So you are unlikely to arrive on prom night to find anyone else wearing the dress that you have spent so long choosing.

As for styling, something simple with well chosen accessories will almost certainly look amazing - you are going to look stunning.

At EDressMe you can browse their range of prom dresses by color, choosing orange gowns in styles and lengths to suit every shape and size.

Orange - A Color for Bridesmaids Dresses

Unless your brides maids are sisters who will look amazing clothed in this shade, try toning down to cooler shades such as peach.

If you still feel that you just love stronger colours, why not accessorise with them, or mix them in with your bouquets ?  This could even tone with trimmings on your own gown or flower bouquet .

Fiery colors begin their yearly conquest of the hills, propelled by the autumn winds. Fall is the artist.

Don't overdo it - when using makeup, try wearing a rosy blusher ,keep eyes fairly neutral, using warm browns to tone smoothly .
